I will say it plainly. We are usually not the cheapest bid you will get. And if the cheapest number is the only thing you are shopping for, we are probably not your guys. I would rather be honest about that now than waste your time.
Here is what the cheapest bid usually leaves out.
The Cheapest Bid Is Often The Most Expensive One
A low number gets you in the door. Then the change orders start. The “we did not include that” conversations, or the “the budget is X and you’re asking for Y” conversations. The corners you did not know got cut until something fails two years later. I have been called in to fix enough of those jobs to know how the story ends. By the time it is done, the cheap bid cost more than the honest one would have.
What You’re Actually Paying For
Who We’re Actually A Fit For
People who want communication, honesty, and craftsmanship. People who will meet me halfway with realistic expectations about budget and timeline. I am not the right builder for investors flipping for resale, or for anyone whose only question is “what is your lowest number.” But if you want a real partner on a project you will be proud of for a long time, we should talk.
Sound like your kind of builder?
